Full Job Description

Oxford University Department for Continuing Education (OUDCE) is seeking to appoint an efficient Course Administrator for its busy Award Programme Office located in Summertown, Oxford. The Administrator will be responsible for all aspects of the administration of a range of Undergraduate Award Bearing courses. About the role You will be responsible for administering a portfolio of courses and providing support for the student lifecycle from end-to-end, including dealing with admissions, on-course administration and handling post-course enquiries, such as requests for transcripts. This is a full-time position (36.5 hours per week), available as a fixed-term maternity cover until 27 February 2026.

You will have excellent organisational and administrative skills, a high level of accuracy and an ability to work flexibly to deadlines with minimal supervision. Also required are good interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to work well in a team environment and a clear and pleasant manner in dealing with a wide range of people over the telephone, via email or in person, are essential. You must be competent in a range of IT applications including MS Word, Excel and Access, together with email and use of the internet.
