Full Job Description

The Cover Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school by managing staff absences and arranging cover for lessons. Responsibilities include coordinating with supply teachers and liaising with department heads to understand specific cover needs. The Cover Manager will ensure minimal disruption to pupils' learning and support the administrative team in various scheduling and organisational tasks. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to respond quickly and efficiently to changing needs.

We also provide bespoke support for early career teachers and we have developed a programme for recently qualified teachers which takes teachers from their ECT years through to their third year of teaching, preparing them to take on significant positions of responsibility.
