Cover Supervisor

Are you thinking about a career in teaching? The Cover Supervisor role is an excellent first step towards becoming a teacher.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is able to build positive, professional relationships with young people to join our team at Eastern High. As Cover Supervisor you will:

work with staff to ensure the continuity of a high-quality education for learners,

ensure that our students receive an effective and consistent level of education when teaching staff are not able to deliver their lessons,

gain insight into working in a secondary school and develop the core skills required to become a teacher,

and have the opportunity to be involved in the wider life of the school and to support students outside of the classroom environment.

The school occupies a state of the art building and is rapidly expanding in terms of student numbers. Although designated an 11 - 16 school, we share our building with Cardiff & Vale College who provide Post 16 provision up to 19 yrs old. Our staff are practitioners who bring energy, enthusiasm and a commitment to improving the life chances of young people and ensuring we achieve our single aim, which is to enable our students to flourish in life through learning.
