Cover Supervisor with immediate effect (for 12 months in the first instance)

Band J - Points 20-23 (Fte: £30,296 - £32,076)

(35 hours: £24,435 - £25,871 pro rata)

Flexibility to work between 8.00 am - 4.00 pm

Nicholas Chamberlaine School is a vibrant, exciting, innovative and mixed 11-18 school with 1200 students. Students are keen to do well, parents are very supportive and the staff are highly committed to the further success of the school. The school has been a proud member of the Griffin Schools Trust since September 2013.

The school is looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor. The above post is available on a term time only plus 5 inset days.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Have a minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grades A-C


  • Skills and abilities:
  • Be highly articulate in speech and writing

  • Have excellent interpersonal skills

  • Exercise initiative and independent action

  • Be able to apply your knowledge and understanding across the whole age and ability range, in supporting teaching, learning and development of students


  • Values and commitment:
  • Believe that all children can achieve a grade 4 regardless of their ability or background

  • Be committed to developing the horizons of students through involvement in enrichment and extra-curricular activities

  • Be committed to the school and Trust's vision for Proud Traditions, Wide Horizons and High Achievement and believe that you have something valuable to add
