Cover Supervisor (Casual contract)

We are looking for candidates who would have an interest in working for Northwood School on a casual basis as a Casual Cover Supervisor. Northwood is a friendly, happy, welcoming school where young people behave well and are enabled to make excellent academic progress. The main function of this job is to supervise classes of students in the event of teacher absence. You will have:
• We are looking for individuals with good literacy and numeracy skills, who can promote a supportive atmosphere for our students so that they achieve their best.
• Good communication skills, an observant eye and attention to detail are essential.
• You will need to have a calm nature and work effectively in a busy environment.
• As a Cover Supervisor, you will need a good standard of education and enjoy working with young people, so you can help and support students aged 11-16 years of age in the classroom.
• Manage the behaviour of students in accordance with school policy to ensure a constructive learning environment.
