Salford City College Group are recruiting to a cover Supervisor role

What does a cover supervisor do?

The purpose of a cover supervisor is to provide effective cover supervision in a range of classes and subjects in response to unforeseen short-term teacher absence, ensuring good order is maintained in the classroom and learners keep to task, completing all pre planned work left by their teacher.

This role would ideally suit a flexible, organised individual who has experience leading classes or someone new to teaching. Applications will be accepted from newly qualified, experienced teachers or applicants looking to enter a career in teaching and looking to gain further experience.

  • We have Generous Terms and Conditions (Sixth Form College's Association style terms and conditions) including 13 weeks not in college (195 days in College).
