Cover Supervisor
30 hours per week
(Monday to Friday, Term Time Only)
(Temporary to cover Maternity Leave)
Grade 4 - Point 7 to 11
Salary £24,294 - £25,979 (pro rata)
Actual Salary £16,867 to £18,037
Starting ASAP until 31st August 2025.
We are seeking to appoint a reliable and student friendly Cover Supervisor to support our wider school environment, supervising classes across KS3 and KS4 during short-term absences of the assigned class teacher.
The candidate will have experience in delivering pre-planned set work, with a clear understanding of the tasks to be delivered within the classroom. The candidate will have behaviour management experience with an expectation of managing students' behaviour at all times in line with the school's behaviour policy.
Experience of working within a school setting, including the relevant Health & Safety requirements is desirable, though training will be provided.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Appointment to the post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring background check.
