anzuk education is actively recruiting enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to take on positions in multiple secondary schools in Somerset and the surrounding areas. These roles provide a diverse and dynamic experience within different school environments.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be instrumental in fostering a nurturing and engaging learning atmosphere during staff absences. We welcome educators who are eager to enhance their teaching skills in preparation for their PGCE or those with prior experience leading classes.

Cover Supervisor Job Description:
+ Deliver pre-planned lesson plans in a structured manner, across multiple subjects to children in KS3 and KS4
+ Undertake additional duties, such as break and lunch duties, as and when required
+ Follow behaviour management and safeguarding policies effectively
+ Engage students with a range of teaching methods in order to maximise the learning of all students in the class
+ Feedback on student progress and behaviour throughout the day to colleagues and parents if requested

+ Ideally have access to their own transport
+ Be able to show your wealth of experience working with children in a coaching, tutoring, teaching or mentoring role
+ Hold an Enhanced Child workforce DBS with an update service subscription, or be willing to apply for one
+ Have a fully updated CV, outlining employment covering the last two years - any gaps in employment must be accounted for
+ Hold a degree
+ Have excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility and resilience
