Reporting to: Pool Coordinator/Aquatics Manager
Job Purpose: To be responsible for planning and delivering learn to swim sessions to children and adults. To cover swimming lessons across our Life Leisure facilities., To work with the Pool Coordinators covering evening and weekend swimming lessons.
To deliver safe, fun and inclusive swimming lessons to a range of participants of all ages and abilities.
To teach evening and weekend lessons totally 20 hours per week and to travel to our sites as needed.
To be prepared to change plans where necessary.

A minimum of Level 2 swimming teacher qualification.
A sound knowledge of all areas of the swimming programme.
The ability to relate and communicate with people of all ages and deal with associative issues and situations.
An understanding of child development.
The ability to be well planned.
The ability to be flexible.
The ability to keep an accurate record.
The ability to work on your own initiative and to work as part of a wider team.
