Cover Teacher

We are looking for an experienced teacher to join the school in either a part-time or full-time capacity to work as a cover teacher. The role of the cover teacher is to provide support across subject areas at the school in the event of staff absence. The successful applicant would be expected to work with subject leaders to ensure that students are provided with a high-quality learning environment if their normal class teacher is absent from the school. In addition, they will be able to demonstrate the ability to command respect in the classroom and inspire students to realise their potential. Candidates should also be confident in using effective strategies to motivate ALL learners and in promoting the enjoyment of the subject they are covering across all year groups.
