As part of our internal studio team The Gym Works you will work within a team of designers who are accountable for developing highly effective branded assets across a range of touchpoints. You will be a key contributor to our Marketing Team, responsible for producing high-quality visual assets that align with our brand guidelines and support marketing campaigns across various channels. You will collaborate closely with the Graphic Design team, Studio Manager, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of accurate and technically sound artwork. What you need to know about the role… In this role, you will be taking templated assets and applying changes to make them bespoke, whilst also working with concepts created by our Graphic Design team and bringing them to life. As a creative artworker you will also work with our brand guidelines and existing templates to develop new documents and assets with support from our Graphic Design team. Key Responsibilities

  • Artwork Production: Produce artwork for a variety of marketing materials, including but not limited to, digital and print advertisements, promotional materials, signage, packaging, and internal communications.
  • Technical Expertise: Ensure artwork is technically accurate, adheres to brand guidelines, and is prepared for production and distribution according to industry standards.
  • File Preparation: Prepare print-ready files, ensuring proper colour profiles, resolution, bleed, and trim marks for various printing processes.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilise design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft PowerPoint and other relevant tools to create and edit artwork. After Effects and Figma would be desirable but not essential as we would be able to upskill you internally.
  • D6 Screen Management: To manage the upload and take down of all in gym D6 screen content, working with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Graphic Designers, Marketing Managers, and external vendors to understand project requirements and provide support in artwork production.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks on artwork to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project specifications before final delivery.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Asset Management: Manage master templated assets and ensure they are always kept up to date, and regularly update our master asset library with new iterations and creatives.
  • Feedback Incorporation: Incorporate feedback from stakeholders into artwork revisions and iterate on designs to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Stay Updated: Stay informed about industry trends, design best practices, and software updates to enhance skills and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Bringing fresh ideas and approaches to aid process and team efficiencies, as well as being knowledgeable of current industry trends
  • Collaborate with the other members of the team to build a thriving work environment where knowledge and ideas are shared.

    Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design).
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word and Excel). PowerPoint animation and template experience would be highly desirable.
  • Data merge skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft suite would be a strong advantage.
  • After Effects and Figma knowledge would be desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to ensure all print and digital files are set up according to the printer or digital supplier specifications.
  • Highly detail driven and a good eye for Quality Assurance checks and processes.
  • Collaboration - working with multiple teams and stakeholders.
