JOB PURPOSE

Burberry is looking for an experienced, skilled and enthusiastic technical designer / creative artworker with a keen interest in the field of Campaign, Print and Packaging to join the Beauty team.

Reporting to the Senior Technical Designer and Creative Artworker, this role works closely with the Burberry Beauty team and licensee to maintain a consistent brand image. Responsibilities include creating technical artworks and guidelines for global campaigns and premium printed materials, acting as a technical brand guardian, and handling daily creative artworking needs for prototypes and production.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Support the Beauty creative team with the creation of campaign layouts for: Print, POS and OOH, from kick off to delivery.

· Review and approve licensee/agency cropping guidelines for advertising campaigns (Print, OOH, POS), liasing with licensee marketing and Burberry designers and art directors on back/forth updates from all relevant parties.

· Review and approve Digital guidelines against POS to ensure brand consistency.

· Output campaigns for various markets with different requirements, including Chinese taglines.

· Liase with internal post teams to provide support in image extension requests and image proofing.

· Work closely with the packaging designers to develop designs from approved concepts into print-ready artwork for in-house prototyping with local 3rd party suppliers.

· Support Senior Technical Designer and Creative Artworker on all artworking queries, providing informed and technically precise input to licensee, the Burberry creative team and 3rd party suppliers.

· Support Senior Technical Designer and Creative Artworker with the versioning out of SKU's following master artwork guidelines (e.g. creation of 30 variants of giftset labels for Festive gifting period)

· Review supplier PDF proofs for correctness against artworks.

· Work closely with the packaging designers to develop artwork guidelines to accompany Burberry's creative design delivery to the licensee.

· Autonomously design technical aspects of packaging / print collateral.

PERSONAL PROFILE

· Minimum 3+ years in a similar role, ideally in the Luxury Fashion/Beauty sector, with proven experience in creating highly spec'd artworks and an extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).

· Exceptionally organized, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously, with a strong focus on timely delivery and attention to detail.

· Deep understanding and hands-on experience with print processes, ensuring high-quality outputs.

· Proactive in identifying issues, exploring innovative solutions, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively while maintaining a perfectionist attitude.
