Full Job Description

As a Creative Designer - Senior Associate you will be working within the Creative and Visual Design team, reporting to the Creative Lead based in our Manchester office. The team helps shape PwC's creative design needs using our digital channels, advertising and events to engage and attract new audiences. There is also an opportunity to support our London Creative Lead with design projects when called upon. You will help produce and drive the artwork being produced by the current team across print, screen, digital and social media.

The role will play a key part within PwC's in-house creative team within the Sales and Marketing function. A core team of 34 people, including designers, video producers and project managers delivering highly creative design solutions to the UK and global firms.

What your days will look like:

  • You will be responsible for producing a variety of creative and able to bring them to life across PwC branded and client branded deliverables. From reports, presentations, event material, brochures, illustrations, interactive projects, social media assets, web assets and animations.

  • You'll help support other designers, of various experience levels, to drive the quality of the creative work produced, challenge ideas and work to be world class.

  • You will be taking briefs from clients, challenging and questioning clients as appropriate. Able to discuss appropriate options for design and advising clients of best use of graphics whilst adhering to brand guidelines.

  • You will have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills in order to develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships with key clients and contacts from all levels of PwC across all lines of service.

  • Although part of a large design team, you will need to be comfortable working on individual projects as well as in a team on projects.

  • Manage end to end production of documents, e.g. liaise with printers (internal and external) or digital team for online or social deliverables.

    Experience in a professional services, research consultancy, legal or financial services environment with a proven ability to create high quality deliverables, which will provide a deeper understanding of the firm's client base, competition and market.

  • Intellectually curious, commercially minded and a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple manner.

  • Exceptional problem solving; capacity to learn quickly and execute accurately; comprehensive knowledge of UK and international markets.

  • Analytical skills, comfortable working with quantitative data and detailed numerical analysis. Preferably with the experience with or a keen interest in using Power BI, Alteryx or SQL to analyse and visualise data.

  • High attention to detail.
