Full Job Description

  • Work as directed by the Creative Arts Technical Manager to technically support all relevant events within the school and the community

  • Deliver practical technical support to students studying Production Arts and Music Technology courses

  • Undertake and coordinate technical duties under the direction of the Creative Arts Technical Manager within the Art & Design department to include technical support for Ceramics and Textiles, The role will involve elements of outdoor event set up, with external companies, so the applicants will get to see the role from both scenarios working indoors and outside.

    Communication skills, Attention to detail, Customer care skills, Presentation skills, Analytical skills, Team working, Creative, Physical fitness, GCSE or equivalent English and Maths (Grade 4) Essential

    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
    Minimum Wage Rates
  • Working week

  • Monday - Thursday, 8.00am - 4.00pm and Friday, 8.00am - 3.30pm. There may be some evening work when the schools have evening productions and weekend concerts., You could reduce your training time, or finish your apprenticeship faster, if you have relevant prior learning or experience.
