As a company we come together annually for our conference and end of year celebrations! What will I be doing? We are looking for a stellar Creative Lead to drive the evolution of our visual language and storytelling and elevate the Kaluza brand.

  • Working closely with the VP of Marketing and Communications and the wider Marketing Leadership Team, set the creative direction for the Kaluza brand
  • Lead the execution of that vision from the front creating a wide range of visual assets such as presentations, digital ads, infographics, pdfs, product animations, web graphics, video etc.
  • Evolve Kaluza's visual storytelling through developing a deep understanding of our value proposition and market opportunity and translating complex software propositions into simple and engaging visual stories
  • Lead the next stage of the evolution of the Kaluza brand to strengthen our identity and distinctiveness in key markets
  • Act as the principal custodian of Kaluza's visual language, ensuring the consistent adoption of brand guidelines and principles across the Kaluza organisation for internal and external purposes
  • Create stunning Google Slides templates and presentations to support Kaluza's global growth
  • Manage a creative designer, coaching them and supporting their learning and growth
  • If required, effectively select, brief and manage freelance/agency support and ensure successful outcomes
  • Set up robust but flexible ways of working to ensure effective delivery of design assets according to fast-changing business needs
  • Exchange knowledge and best practice with our Product Designers to support the growth of design excellence at Kaluza
  • Build a good understanding of our product development process to oversee the creation of product demos that drive positive commercial outcomes

    In order to set you up for success as Creative Lead at Kaluza, we are looking for the following skills and experience:
  • An accomplished, strategic and hands-on creative lead with proven experience in B2B/B2E technology/SaaS
  • Quality experience at a Creative Lead / Head of Design level
  • Solid track record in managing freelancers or agencies for project work
  • Extensive experience and understanding of design systems (e.g. Figma)
  • Flexible mindset and a penchant for offering creative and innovative solutions to creative briefs
  • Extensive experience of creating stunning Google Slides presentations; talented at constructively challenging the limitations of Google Slides and maximising the real estate of the format
  • Genuine passion for the creative craft as a powerful storytelling tool
  • Appetite to build a solid understanding of the energy transition and its driving forces including renewable generation, distribution and storage, electrification, and the energy trading markets
  • Hugely organised. Ability to prioritise ruthlessly and work to set deadlines.
  • Great communicator and high EQ with an ability to engage with and influence key stakeholders at all levels within the organisation
  • Naturally curious and keen to learn
  • Committed to self-development and keeping apace with the latest design approaches and techniques - implementing them with impact
  • Bias for action and motivated by positive outcomes - you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are highly motivated to see Kaluza drive positive change in the world
  • Be able to galvanise support across the organisation and drive alignment across multiple business areas
  • Enjoy working outside of a defined swim lane and proactively dig into projects with a focus on getting results
  • You are a pragmatic and practical self-starter; an outcomes oriented person who can juggle multiple workstreams, loves to problem-solve and can efficiently drive a collaborative process
