Full Job Description

  • Provide a marketing service and support to our agency network and regional sales team.
  • Play a key part in developing and evolving brand new and existing processes.
  • Lead, manage and motivate a team of 3 marketing professionals.
  • About the role Are you ready to take the reins and lead the evolution of a cutting-edge local area marketing service? We have a fantastic brand-new opportunity for a Creative Services Team Lead to join our wider Marketing & Digital division on a permanent basis. This role is pivotal in enhancing and optimising the agency's service offerings, improving efficiency, and fostering strong relationships with individual businesses. By focusing on these key areas, you can drive meaningful change and create a more effective support structure for your agency partners. You will spearhead the implementation of a segmented local area marketing service that meets the diverse needs of our agency network. In this role you will assess current processes and offerings to identify gaps and opportunities and will redesign workflows to align with strategic goals and ensure they are fit for purpose. A full redesign of how incoming requests are triaged and processed to reduce backlog and improve response times is needed, and you will standardise the approach to taking briefs to ensure clarity and consistency. You will develop clear Service Level Agreements to set expectations for response times and deliverables and will leverage data insights to continually refine and optimise our marketing service. You'll oversee day-to-day prioritisation and planning, ensuring that every marketing request is handled and allocated with precision, governance, and adherence to SLAs. You will cultivate strong and effective relationships with stakeholders across the business and provide valuable feedback to the campaigns team on opportunities for improvement and innovation. Working with a third-party creative agency, you will oversee and manage the creative development with the overall goal to ensure that on-brand, pre-approved materials are readily available for self-service by Agents and the regional Sales team, ensuring alignment on objectives and messaging. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders and team members to establish and uphold clear principles, ensuring seamless integration of self-service and consultancy approaches. You will also develop and execute an ongoing internal communications plan to boost awareness and engagement with our local area marketing service. You will lead, manage, and motivate your team to achieve their full potential. You'll conduct daily scrums, monitor individual pipelines, and address any challenges head-on to keep the team on track.

    You are a dynamic leader who excels at managing and inspiring teams to achieve their best. With a proven marketing background and solid understanding of the full range of marketing channels, you know how to leverage each one effectively to drive results. You have proven experience of process re-engineering and driving change within a creative services and production function and will ideally have worked with a disparate/satellite workforce. You thrive on process development and improvement, always looking for ways to streamline and enhance efficiency. You have proven experience of managing/working with external creative agencies and suppliers. You have project management experience and a strong understanding of workflow management and you also have a sound understanding of GDPR. To join our team you must also have;
  • The ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong and proven collaboration skills
  • The ability to build strong relationships through your effective communication skills
  • A pragmatic and logical approach to problem-solving
  • A strong personal reputation built on your integrity, reliability, and consistent delivery of high-quality work.
