Full Job Description

Credit Risk Analyst role is to promote, support and maximize profitable sales through the implementation and maintenance of an effective International credit risk assessment function, thereby optimizing the asset base in line with profit and cash flow objectives. This is done while acknowledging the specific differences in accounting methods across International environments in preparing credit line reviews.

The job requires the provision of a detailed credit risk assessment through the evaluation of financial statements, credit reports, management accounts, operational performance, security and any other relevant factors in evaluating credit proposals and establishing credit facilities to support the commercial objectives and promote profitable sales, whilst ensuring an acceptable level of reward against risks taken. Credit Risk Analyst must ensure that credit assessments are compiled within the parameters of Harley-Davidson's International Credit Standards and that any conditions approved within the approval of facilities are monitored, maintained and adhered to. Credit Risk Analyst needs to establish strong working relationships with dealers, distributors and H-D subsidiaries., Credit Reviews
Complete a minimum number dealer of dealer file reviews in line to an agreed schedule ensuring all reviews are approved at correct authority level, communicated to relevant departments and updated in the systems.

File Conditions & Security
Ensure Security is properly executed with all legal names, value and signatures in line with requirement, contracting parties and legal requirements. Ensure security documentation is stored in appropriate secure location and recorded in relevant systems.
Liaise with local markets to ensure security is renewed prior to expiry.
Report on detail of expired or non-compliance with security and conditions.
Ensure that bank security is provided through an Investment Rated bank.
Preparation of security documentation where required.

Bad Debts
Ensure that bad debt losses are maintained within budget.
Liaise with local subsidiaries and Credit Risk Manager to establish any high risk dealer positions
Prepare escalation reports as appropriate in conjunction with local subsidiaries for submission to Credit Risk Manager
Monitor dealer watch accounts
Liaise with local legal counsel where required

Reporting and Documentation
Compile daily, weekly, monthly reports and ad hoc reports as required on a timely basis, including generation from SAP, Excel, SharePoint and PowerBI.
Amend existing reports and templates as required.

Projects
To assist on projects as and when required.

Finance, Economics or related Degree Preferred., Minimum of 1 year Credit Underwriting Experience, Risk Analysis or Financial Analysis.

Ability to Operate in an International environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with familiarity in compiling detailed credit risk assessments and high levels of cultural awareness.

The ability to interact with all levels of company leadership and staff to resolve business issues on a timely basis.

Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and SAP are required.

Preferred
The ability to speak languages other than English.

Awareness of the automotive market and knowledge of International Trade documentation.

Experience of Know Your Customer, Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions and Tax Evasion.

Member of CICM, ICTF, FECMA or similar Credit Management institutes.
