Credit Controller

Please note this role is predominantly working from home but you will be required to work 1-2 days per week from our office in Kemble. This is a fixed term contract for 3 months starting mid-July.,

• Monitoring the sales ledger and raising sales invoices


• Following up on overdue payments via phone, letter and email


• Implementing collection strategies to recover outstanding debts


• Resolving disputes related to payments and reconciling customer accounts


• Preparing paperwork for non-paying clients to aid with debt recovery


• Maintaining the complaints register and monitoring resolutions


• Updating and maintaining debtor information in the finance system


• Identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential credit risks


• Completing administrative tasks relating to customer accounts, ensuring all data is uploaded onto relevant systems accurately and in accordance with GDPR

• Experience working in a credit control environment


• Knowledge of accounts receivable/credit control


• Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel


• Negotiation and influencing skills


• Good customer service and communications skills


• Excellent attention to detail and organisation
