Full Job Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller this all round role will incorporate involvement in all aspects of the finance function. You will be primarily responsible for managing and collecting the company's debts.,

  • Ensuring payments are on track to be paid within the agreed terms.
  • Contacting customers and suppliers about overdue payments via email and telephone.
  • Monitoring late payments.
  • Negotiating re-payment plans.
  • Produce credit reports for management.

    We're currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Credit Controller to join our finance team. Nosy Crow is a multi-award winning, independent children's publishing company with operations in both the UK and the USA. We make child-focused, parent-friendly children's books for ages 0-12.
  • The role is a full time position and is a hybrid role, working a minimum of three days per week in our office near to London Bridge. If you're passionate about books and know about finance, we would love to hear from you. The successful candidate will have the right to live and work in the UK.,
  • Qualification to AAT level 2 or similar.
  • Use of initiative.
  • High levels of numeracy and accuracy.
  • A logical approach to work, with good communication and organisational skills.
  • Sound experience of working in an accounts department within a medium size business environment.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks , Zero or other similar accounting software is preferable but not essential as we will provide comprehensive training to the right applicant.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft excel.

  • The salary range for this role is £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience.
