Description: Are you an organised, confident and proactive credit controller with a passion for delivering excellent customer service? Our client, a growing family business, is seeking a Credit Controller to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in managing customer accounts, ensuring smooth cash flow and working with an excellent team. What You'll Do
- Act as the main point of contact for customer account queries, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Monitor and control customer debts, prioritising cash flow and minimising risk.
- Evaluate new and existing accounts for creditworthiness and recommend appropriate credit terms.
- Manage reconciliation tasks, including customer portals and integrations (EDI).
- Create and distribute account statements, overdue letters, and credit status reports.
- Collaborate closely with sales and finance teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Provide exceptional service while adhering to strict procedures.
Credit control experience. - Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and accounting software.
- A customer-focused approach with excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Resilience and the ability to thrive under pressure and manage high workloads.
- A friendly, confident and personable personality!
Extras - Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
