Credit Controller - Oak Romford What you will be doing: An opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller to join the team at Galliford Try within our Oak Fire Protection Business. Ideally, you will based in or around the Romford area.

  • Ensuring timely payments from customers
  • Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment
  • Chase overdue payment promptly and persistently through phone calls, emails and letters
  • Use of Microsoft packages including office and excel
  • Data input into various Microsoft Excel documents
  • Use of Orbit Galliford Try System (training provided)
  • Document management including filing of.

    Previous Experience in a construction related Credit Control field
  • Ability to manage own ledger inclusive of experience in escalating aged debt to seek resolution
  • Ability to produce context driven, succinct aged debtor reports for management review
  • Proven ability to reduce debtor days by developing relationships with clients using the telephone
  • Experience of Money Claim Online (MCOL) desired but not essential
  • High performing telephone skills which are used as a key tool to reduce debtor days
  • Time management expertise
  • Confident use of Microsoft office skillset
  • Excellent attention to detail
