Full Job Description

Reporting to the Design Manager and working within core values of the business, the successful Design Engineer will be tasked with delivering packages using PTC Creo.

As a time served Design Engineer, you will undertake CAD model creation, prototyping and appropriate testing and potentially perform essential material stress-strain analysis calculations, identifying new systems and processes to drive quality, efficiency and save costs whilst communicating effectively with the clients, colleagues and contractors involved at various stages of projects.

You will plan effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time, to standard and in budget, and will rigorously evaluate manufacturing processes, researching and developing solutions in order to increase efficiency, reduce down time, waste and scrap, whilst ensuring consistent repeatable processes and product quality are maintained.

We need Creo designers with mechanical design experience working within appropriate sectors but may consider those not from the vehicle design world. If you also have SolidWorks experience, as well as Creo, this is even more of an advantage
