Crew Manager Training

We are seeking applications from current Wholetime Crew Managers and Competent Wholetime Firefighters with a Crew Manager CPG pass for the role of Crew Manager in the Training Department based at our Training Centre, Telford. The role is conditioned to the 9-day fortnight duty system and will require a commitment to a weekend working arrangement for which a range of renumeration options are available. In line with current policy, you will be required to complete an incident command assessment (XVR). If successful at that stage you will then progress to the next phase where all successful applicants will be expected to demonstrate their ability to meet the specification of the role, which will be assessed through a job specific interview and presentation. • Breathing Apparatus Instructor
• Compartment Fire Behaviour Training Instructor
• Hazardous Materials Instructor
• Road Traffic Collision Instructor
• SWAH Instructor
• FREC 4
Dependant on the requirements of the Training department you may also be required to attend additional courses such as Swift Water Rescue and Rope Rescue.
