As a Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator with Change Grow Live you will be working with people to help them change the direction of their life, grow as an individual, and live life to its full potential. You will work across Manchester and in the main will be located in National Probation Service locations. You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing including the National Probation Service, GMP and the Prison Service offering a wide range of treatment interventions and programmes. You will work with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives and promote recovery, resilience, peer support and self-determination. You will provide assessments for people with alcohol and substance misuse issues and with our Doctors, NMP's and Wellbeing Nurses you will provide case management support and healthcare interventions for individuals accessing the service. Where: Manchester Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week, As a Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator, you will play a crucial role at the forefront of our services in Manchester. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey
- Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral
- Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self-determination
- Supporting specific group work programmes or workshops designed to meet the unique needs of our service users.
- Conduct prison inreach at our local prisons supporting people prior to release and ensuring Continuity of Care
- Close liaison and multi-agency working with other professionals and partnership agencies including Courts, police and probation.
- Promoting carer, service user and community involvement
Have an understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field - Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written with proficient IT skills
- Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills
- Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders
- Understand the importance of information governance processes and commit to follow and apply all necessary safeguards
Salary: £27,449.52 - £31,529.41 dependant on experience (based on full time working hours, pro rata for part time) Contract Type: 12 months fixed term contract Responsibilities, - 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays) increasing annually for the first five years.
