Crisis Clinician

An exciting opportunity has arisen to come and work in a joint position within the 111 (2) Mental health service and the Darlington Crisis team. The role will be to work alongside the 111(2) service carrying out crisis triage and assessment and to support staff working within the 111(2) service offering advice, guidance and signposting. Successful candidates will be offered the opportunity to work within the Darlington site based at West Park Hospital., The team operates over 24 hours, 7 days a week, 12 hour shift pattern.
This is a band 6 post open to registered nurses, occupational therapists and social workers with current relevant registration with the NMC, HCPC or SWE.
You will receive regular supervision and there are good training opportunities.
As a member of the team you will provide a service to those individuals who present with a mental health crisis who require crisis triage and assessment. Applicants should be highly motivated, have the ability to act on own initiative and have sound assessment and written skills.

Candidates must have 18 months post qualifying experience including sign off of appropriate preceptorship or competency framework.
