Full Job Description

As a CRM Assistant, you will play a fundamental role in implementing the CRM communication strategy in the UK Region. You will support the CRM Communication Jr Manager through the stages of planning, delivery and testing of all CRM communications. You will also build strong relationships with the UK Region markets and act as the main point of contact with both the email agency and the Global CRM team.

What impact you can create at CHANEL:
Email communications - planning and execution:

  • Work closely with the CRM Communication Jr Manager on the implementation of the UK communications strategy and ensure campaigns are optimised for performance.

  • Consolidate the UK region email planning and ensure CRM master calendar is up to date for all markets.

  • Own the email creation process for the UK Region - including briefing, testing and scheduling of all campaigns in a timely fashion.

  • Work closely with the E-Business team and monitor stock levels to ensure campaigns are best optimised for a seamless client experience.

  • Support CRM Communication Jr Manager on the implementation of trigger campaigns.

  • Develop brief request documents to support on local email initiatives.

  • Be one of the key contacts with the CRM Agency - build a strong relationship to enable seamless email campaign execution.

  • Build excellent relationships with the wider business to enable a better understanding of Marketing priorities, Media focuses and Retail initiatives, in order to drive email campaigns further.


  • Support UK Region:
  • Manage markets email plan, request monthly planners and schedule in master calendar.

  • Maintain strong relationships with UK region counterparts and assist on regular meetings.

  • Share Global CRM assets with the markets and ensure guidelines are respected across markets.

  • Act as an intermediary between CRM agency and markets and keep markets up to date regularly with business priorities and updates.


  • General CRM Support:
  • Deliver weekly and monthly reports on CRM email performance, presenting analysis to the wider team and making recommendations for email optimisation.

  • Lead regular competitor reviews on CRM trends and share best practices with the wider team and the UK Region markets.

  • Assist CRM team with new projects, including testing and administrative support to enable maintenance of projects as well as new launches.
