Full Job Description

An exciting vacancy has arisen for a Band 4 Cross cover MDM coordinator for East Kent Hospital University Foundation Trust base will be Trust wide, this role will be working with several MDM teams and providing cross cover, across several tumour sites.

You will need possess sound interpersonal skills including excellent communication, clerical, customer service and organisational skills.

The post requires you to be able to organise and co-ordinate a wide range of tasks within tight timescales in an effective professional manner. To work under pressure, show initiative and play an important role in the effective organisation of MDMs and cancer compliance., Ideally you will have experience of working unsupervised and you will possess sound interpersonal skills including excellent communication, clerical, customer service and organisational skills.

You will have an aptitude for data and information, preferably with an NHS background and experience of using PAS and other hospital systems / applications but training will be provided. You will be responsible for the tracking of cancer pathways / coordinating the MDM team meetings and ensuring that person centred care is delivered in a timely and professional manner and work to deadlines in line with local and national requirements.
