Cross Functional Operator

The following responsibilities should be regarded as universal across the production areas:

• Packing of manufactured products into boxes, bags, crates (Moulding and Assembly, or into wood u-frames (Extrusion).


• Ensuring quality standards are being achieved at all times and support with inspection


• Ensure all relevant data is captured / collected and entered onto appropriate systems


• Preparation of relevant packing materials for each production batch


• Booking of product onto IFS (if required)


• Transportation of products to Warehouse, Working Progress or other finished goods storage dependent on product type


• Support with continuous improvement activities


• Ensure a clean and safe working area is maintained for yourself and others


• Ensure all waste / scrap products are separated into their designated containers
  
  Understanding of packaging and visual and dimensional quality requirements as defined on product information sheets (PIS)


• Ability to operate appropriate MHE (after training)


• Knowledge of company specific H&S and Environmental requirements


• Trained in Safe Systems of Work (SSW’s) appropriate to activities and tasks being undertaken


• Flexibility and adaptability to move between the production areas.
