Location: Bristol (3-4 days Office based)- some travel to Farnborough required
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working Hours: Monday -> Friday 37.5 hours per week

What you'll do

You will be the project custodian is to ensure that all cryptographic items are fully recorded, documented and controlled within current policies and directives with cradle to grave accounting throughout their life.

• Support the Crypto team and act at the Crypto SME for security matters as required within the project.


• Write and deliver security awareness briefs.


• Develop and maintain documentation relevant to the customers' and Vodafone Crypto requirements.


• Delivery of Contractual security requirements within the Crypto elements of the project Crypto Management Plan (CMP)


• Implementation and adherence to JSP 490, JSP 491 and JSP 440 and where applicable HMG IA4 for all Crypto Assets.


• Ensure Internal/external COMSEC audits and mandatory checks are carried out within correct timeframes.


Who you are


• Extensive knowledge and experience of running a Crypto account and managing Crypto assets under JSP490 regulations.


• Understanding of JSP490, JSP491, JSP440 regulations


• Good awareness of physical security requirements


• Awareness of HMG IA4


• Knowledge of theory and practical aspects of security, as applicable to a major company serving the public sector.


• ISO27001/ISO27002 awareness


Security Clearance: This position requires the person to hold or to be eligible to undergo UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
