Full Job Description

Acquisition of CT & MRI examinations in line with IRMER and IRR99 regulations

To carry out all responsibilities with regard to relevant and appropriate policies

Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all patients.

Work harmoniously with colleagues of all professions to enhance the working environment at LGT and within the CDC.

Contribute towards the development of services at LGT and the CDC.

Deputise for the Site Clinical Lead when necessary.

Training of staff and students

To communicate effectively with clinical, managerial, administrative and ancillary staff in order to ensure a professional and timely service.

The post holder will be expected to rotate between acute departments. In addition, the two new Community Diagnostic Centres currently being developed and due to be running from Early 2025.

To work over a 7-day working week, 1. Improving representation at senior levels of staff with disabilities, from black, Asian, and ethnic minorities background, identify as LGBTQ+ and women, through improved recruitment and leadership development
2. Widening access (anchor institution) and employability
3. Improving the experience of staff with disability
4. Improving the EDI literacy and confidence of trust staff through training and development
5. Making equalities mainstream

We are looking for dynamic, committed and motivated rotational senior radiographers who are proficient and skilled in CT and/or MRI to work across our Lewisham and Greenwich Hospital sites and Community Diagnostic Centres (CDC) opening March 2025 (Eltham Community Hospital and Queen Marys Sidcup).

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new community service developed and managed by the NHS which will aim to improve healthcare outcomes and make our NHS more resilient than ever.

The post holder will work alongside modality leads to deliver an efficient, effective and high-quality service, whilst offering guidance and support to junior colleagues and managing the day-to-day service to patients.
