Are you a good team player? Can you demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills? Are you willing to work a mixture of shifts? Then this could be the job for you!

Radiology at Salford Royal is entering an exciting time with new multiple scanner installations and expanding services. In the past 3 years we have had 2 new CT systems installed including a GE Revolution Evo CT scanner (first in the UK with AI technology) this system complements the 2 existing GE 64 Lightspeed systems and a Canon Aquilion Prime scanner.

At the time of going out to advert, building work is almost complete on the Greater Manchester Major Trauma Hospital (GMMTH) due to open in Autumn 2023. This will house our hyperacute services including stroke and major trauma for the Greater Manchester area. Plans include a hybrid theatre, 2 GE Maxima CT scanners, an MR suite, X-ray room and Ultrasound rooms.

You will work across multiple scanners within the Salford footprint and will be involved in all aspects of CT including Cardiac, Colonography and CT Intervention in addition to the Stroke and Trauma work.

After initial training you will able to perform virtual colonoscopies and provide imaging for CT interventional procedures. You will also be trained in Cardiac CT which is a new service to Salford.
