Full Job Description

To primarily activate events across Dance and Music, managing relationships with dancers, choreographers, and associated industry contacts within the worlds of Breaking, Street Dance, and Afro Dance. This role will support the development and innovation within the dance community while also supporting our other cultural playgrounds, including music, fashion, comedy, and art. The Culture Specialist will work closely with Culture Marketing Managers to deliver world-class campaigns, curating talent and experiences, and ensuring long-term relationships that impact the business. Additionally, the role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for dancers, ensuring these align with the UK Culture Marketing program and are executed to the highest standard. RESPONSIBILITIESAreas that play to your strengths All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

  • Plan, organise, and execute events from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and cultural relevance.
  • Oversee all elements of dance event production including the delivery of key Red Bull titled events. Working with the Culture Marketing Manager and Global Culture team to implement and build global properties in the UK market. Working with the Red Bull Media Network to ensure we grow reach, brand preference and product consideration by delivering activity that can be seen by millions of people and is clearly attributed to Red Bull.
  • Serve as the primary contact for dancers, choreographers, and industry professionals related to Breaking, Street dance, and Afro dance.
  • Identify and establish relationships with top dance talents for collaborations and projects. Negotiate and manage agreements with dancers and industry contacts for projects. Coordinate support for dancers, including product seeding, rehearsal spaces, collaboration opportunities, and live performances. Align with Culture Managers and global teams to identify UK dancers with global potential and international dancers with UK appeal. Act as a bridge between dancers, industry professionals, and the brand, ensuring all parties are aligned on project goals and expectations.
  • Develop and execute creative marketing strategies to promote events, campaigns, and collaborations within the dance and broader culture space.
  • Work with internal and external creative teams to ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials. Leverage digital and social media platforms to amplify the visibility of dance events and talents, driving engagement and brand awareness.
  • Develop detailed project timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule and to the highest standard.
  • Oversee the budget for dance-related events and collaborations, ensuring all projects are delivered within financial scope. Ensure clear communication and coordination among all stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring alignment on project goals. Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment with broader international initiatives. Build strong working relationships with internal departments, including the Culture, Media Network, and external partners, to deliver impactful campaigns.

  • Previous experience in an events or brand marketing role within the cultural industry.
  • Experience working directly with talent, dancers, or artists.
  • Understanding of the UK dance scene, particularly breaking, street dance, and Afro dance.
  • Knowledge of UK cultural playgrounds including music, fashion, and art.
  • Experience in developing and implementing marketing campaigns within the cultural sectors.
  • Strong network within the dance, music, and events community, and an understanding of the broader cultural landscape.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Understanding of how brands operate within cultural spaces.
  • Passion for live events, marketing, and media.
  • Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
