An exciting opportunity has arisen within the CURE Smoking Cessation Project at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking to recruit an administrator to co-ordinate and organise the day to day administrative duties of the CURE Smoking Cessation Nursing Team within the Trust. The CURE project is a comprehensive secondary care treatment programme for tobacco addiction within Greater Manchester. The role will involve general clerical and administrative duties suiting an organised, motivated and enthusiastic individual. The ideal candidate must demonstrate their ability to be adaptable to change and thrive in an environment with a varied workload.
At present, the service provides cover Monday to Friday. Flexible working hours are negotiable., + To focus on supporting the administrative duties associated with the provision of CURE smoking cessation service within Stockport NHS Foundation Trust.
+ This administrative role is key to the effectiveness and efficient functioning of the service, therefore will require robust organisational, communication skills and a positive approach to customer service.
The post holder must abide by all relevant Trust and departmental policies including information governance, confidentiality and data protection and, undertake mandatory training.
The post holder is reminded that any breach of the Trust's information governance and security policies and procedures, including data protection legislation, will result in disciplinary action., o To organise and co-ordinate the patients who meet criteria for assessment by the CURE nursing team.
o The role requires a consistent and coordinated approach to the operational management, timely patient flow and a well-planned discharge process.
o Access to a number of computer systems within Stockport NHS Foundation Trust to provide information and track the flow of patients.
o General clerical duties, administrative and telephone related tasks.
o Work alongside the established Respiratory Nursing service. Supporting general clerical duties.
o Dealing promptly with a wide range of enquires from patients, relatives and carers. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team internal and external to the organisation.
o Assist with local and national mandatory audit collection.
o Undertake data entry onto local and national databases; updating of spreadsheets.
o Diary management, arrangement of meetings, room availability and booking where necessary.
