Full Job Description

Curriculum Leader for Music (Key stage 3, 4 and 5) MPS/UPR + TLR 2.3 We are looking to appoint an inspirational curriculum leader for music to join our talented and dedicated team. The person would be responsible for outcomes across all three key stages and for ensuring the high-quality implementation of the newly refined music curriculum. The successful applicant would work closely with colleagues within the team as well as the SLT link in order to continue striving to make the department the best it can be. Essential skills required for this role would include: · Have strong leadership qualities, with the ability to lead and motivate a team; · Be strategic in making decisions which drive progress across all 3 key stages; · Be able to analyse data and use this to accelerate progress; · Be an outstanding classroom practitioner; · Be adaptable, and able to respond to emerging needs and priorities; · Have excellent communication with staff, parents and pupils.
