Full Job Description
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, efficient and collaborative individual to work alongside the Undergraduate Programme Lead and School Operations Manager to deliver the School of Medicine Quality Assurance, Management & Control Framework, ensuring that the school adheres to the quality assurance requirements of the Professional Statutory Regulatory Body (PSRB) - the General Medical Council (GMC). You will be responsible for ensuring that all timelines related to quality assurance, management and control processes are clear and aligned to the School of Medicine governance structure, liaising with internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with academic leads to coordinate, interpret and distribute large data sets. You will work alongside the Undergraduate Programme Lead and Associate Head of School to maintain an accurate record of curriculum enhancement and changes ensuring that the approved process is followed. You will coordinate and record the annual cycle of quality visits at the school's partner Hospital Trusts.
As a Curriculum and Quality Officer, you will be educated to a degree level or have equivalent experience. You will have extensive experience of developing, implementing and managing complex processes. You will have excellent communication skills and experience of working closely with internal and external stakeholders and managing teams. You will have demonstrable experience of working in a similar role where you have effectively managed the workloads of yourself and others. You will have the ability to independently assess situations and identify solutions when presented with issues and make decisions and appropriate recommendations.
