Full Job Description

The Customer Care Specialist will be responsible for managing end-to-end operations for our customers in the government defence sector. You'll be providing proactive customer service, problem solving, collaborating with our sales colleagues and ensuring that our Operational Care Centres have all of the necessary information (including systematic information) to be able to execute on behalf of our customers.,

  • Responsibility for handling and coordinating the entire end-to-end process of Air Logistics (export/import) shipments

  • Advise and consult customers to ensure requirements are met and build strong customer relationships

  • Monitor customer shipments in order to proactively update customers and problem solve by collaborating with other stake-holders, as well as documenting and investigating any issues that arise

  • Ensure that compliance with company, industry and legal standards is adhered to across the function

  • Supporting the sales team in gaining, retaining and implementation of clients, including developing and on-boarding new customers and additional lanes of business from existing customers

  • Supporting the operational team in daily activities and in industry-related questions and requirements

    Demonstrated experience in Air Logistics (import/export)

  • Ability to understand and execute new processes

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Computer literate - Excellent knowledge of MS office features, especially excel

  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

  • Respectful of company confidentiality and compliance regulations

  • Excellent organisational skills and strong interpersonal skills
