Full Job Description

In this business-to-business customer service and credit control role, you will be key to ensuring swift collection of payments from our Large Business Customers. With a knack for detail-digging, logical thinking, and relationship building, you'll relish rooting out process problems and thrive on the challenge of getting big-money invoice payments over the line.

The Opportunity…

Joining an established team of 35 split into smaller, multi-skilled groups, you'll help contribute to the collection of millions of pounds worth of invoices every month. You'll be contacting customers by telephone, applying the key skills for checking for updates, liaising with internal stakeholders, and identifying disputes. You need to be tenacious and resilient, of course, but key to your success in this role will be a passion for logical problem-solving and a pride in investigating issues and instigating actions.

If you are shortlisted, the next step is an invitation to one of our assessment centre evenings, from 5.30pm, on November 19th, 20th or 21st. This session will include a group task, during which we'll observe the ideas and styles of communication. It's not about who is the loudest! It will be a good experience in exploring transferable skills, and a debriefing session will include feedback and discussion.
