Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a Customer Contact Receptionist to join The Bedford College Group at our Cauldwell Campus. As a Customer Contact Receptionist you play an important role in the success of our students through:

  • Providing professional, high quality front of house service to customers in line with the Group's customer service charter, set service standards, recruitment and conversion targets.
  • Supporting the team with administrative duties as identified by the Customer Contact Manager.
  • Carrying out any other duties as appropriate assigned by the Customer Contact Manager or the Head of Enquiries and Admissions.
  • Take responsibility for the efficient running of the front desk/reception area.

    English and mathematics or similar at GCSE grade A-C/9-4 or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a customer service environment.
  • Experience of dealing with challenging and demanding situations to achieve a positive outcomes.
  • Ability to be friendly and welcoming to our customers, to create a positive working and learning environment.
  • Ability to maintain computerised and manual record systems.
  • Manage a busy and challenging work environment.
  • Communicate effectively and confidently face to face, on the telephone and in writing.
