Full Job Description

Customer Experience Team Member

Are you great with customers, but looking for something a little bit different? We're looking for customer-focused staff who'd like to work in our exciting, fast-paced and interesting company.

Every night we welcome thousands of people through our doors to enjoy the best in live entertainment. Whether it's a night out with friends for a special birthday or a family's first pantomime, every visit is important. We work hard to make sure each customer leaves with those unique memories you can only get from a live show...and that they want to return again and again!

As part of our Customer Experience Team you'll make this happen. The charismatic and welcoming face of the company, you'll offer the highest standards of customer service and care. You'll ensure we meet our financial targets by making customers want to return and by selling products and packages on the night, ranging from traditional programmes and ice creams to exciting new cocktails in our luxury bars.

Full of variety, this role is both fun and challenging. You'll take responsibility for a range of tasks as part of a friendly, passionate and ambitious team, working in one of our unique venues with an ever-changing programme of events.

Further information on the role and the skills you'll need can be found in our full job description and in our website article: https://careers.atg.co.uk/about-us/life-at-atg/front-of-house.html

If you have the skills to achieve our goals and an affinity for our values we'd like to hear from you! Experience from within the entertainment sector is not essential and we actively encourage applications from people from the widest range of backgrounds, including those currently under-represented in this industry. You do need to be aged 18+ for this position.

Hire will be subject to the outcome of an assessment & induction day taking place on September 19th 2024.

The Opera House is an unmissable feature of Manchester's central Quay Street in the elegant Spinningfields quarter, the city's thriving business district where luxury fashion brands, restaurants and bars nestle in amongst an array of cultural and entertainment venues. The Grade II listed Opera House, designed in the Classical style with a 15-bay façade, columns and sculptured stone relief, has a large capacity but an intimate auditorium making it perfect not only for smaller musicals but also dance, drama, comedy and pantomime. The Opera House has hosted a variety of world premieres before they transferred to the West End - shows include: Ghost, Back To The Future, & Juliet, Mrs Doubtfire and many more. The Manchester Palace is one of the most successful theatres in the country. A Grade II listed building, originally built as the "Palace of Varieties", the theatre was extensively remodeled in the early 1900s by the legendary Frank Matcham. In the 1970s, the theatre underwent a major
refurbishment, restoring the auditorium and Front of House facilities to their Edwardian splendour and improving backstage facilities. With its large, well-equipped stage and nearly two thousand seats, the theatre is a must-visit venue for major West End shows such as Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia, Les Misérables, The Lion King, Mary Poppins, Wicked and most recently Hamilton.
