Full Job Description
Customer Income Advisor
Industry: Housing
Location: Ryde, Isle of Wight/ Hybrid
Hours: 26 hours per week (flexible)
Days: (Monday - Friday)
Duration: 12 month FTC, starting July 2024
Duties:
Provision of budget and benefit advice to residents,
completion of income and expenditure statements,
assisting in processing of benefit and grant applications,
signposting to other agencies/ organisations for additional support,
Updating and maintaining customer records.
Experience:
Previous experience of personal budgets, welfare benefits and local grants and funding is required.
Must have a good level of customer services, communication and empathy skills in addition to numeracy and accuracy.
Must have access to own transport as this role will be working from the office/ home and visiting customers in the community.
Salary: £21,081 - £24,595 (FTE £30 - 35,000) per annum
