Full Job Description

You will be responsible for providing pre-sales support to prospective customers, planning and managing new customer integrations, and overseeing changes to integrated solutions. You will also involve facilitating testing of IT integration solutions, supporting customer and third-party integrations and incidents.

  • Provide pre-sales support to sales department
  • Liaise with customer and development teams to identify new development opportunities
  • Creation and management of implementation plans and plan and manage IT integration
  • Work with IT test team to create and review test plans for customer integration solutions and carry out test activities as required
  • Provide customer onsite implementation support where necessary
  • Produce/complete all necessary project documentation for each implementation, including transition to support
  • Provide, as necessary, 3rd line support for incidents relating to customer integrations and implementations
  • Identify and address problems, implementing solutions as needed
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external customers. Gather and feedback stakeholder input on documentation and processes for continuous improvement
  • Create, amend and deliver training to SME's, sales colleagues and end users where applicable
  • Ensure any knowledge gained of competitor activity or IT solutions is passed to the relevant team or contact within DHL eCommerce UK
  • Suggest any enhancements or fine tuning likely to increase user acceptance of new development
  • Provide and keep updated all necessary documentation for the maintenance and development of all Integration applications
  • Assist in the design of the applications based on the business requirements and IT strategy
  • Ensure that all processes and procedures are adhered to
  • Ensure that all personal and team objectives are met
  • Assist in the analysis of the business requirements
  • Compliance with quality management, risk management, security policies and procedures in line with DHL eCommerce UK IT processes and procedures
  • Ensure that systems/solutions provided to internal and external users and customers do not exceed the allocated IT budget
  • Create and keep update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and knowledge articles in line with department processes., We take every employee's career seriously and believe in realising their full potential.   • Certification in ITIL Foundation (L3 or L4)
  • Certification in project management methodologies
  • Proven pre-sales support and IT project management experience
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills and problem-solving ability to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Experience with documentation, compliance standards, and providing technical support.
  • Experience of working with third-party vendors / Customer Management solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create rapport with key stakeholders..
  • Experience within the parcel delivery industry would be a distinct advantage
