Full Job Description

To assist in providing excellent customer service to our existing client base, with the aim to retain customers and aid in the sales process.,

  • Communicating with customers and suppliers by email and telephone

  • Planning and organizing of customer's shipments

  • Managing customer and supplier quotations

  • Maintaining the quote log, booking shipments and providing support to customers

  • Monitoring and reporting customer shipping and quote patterns

  • Handling of customer queries and carrier service issues

  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem

  • Evaluating potential sales opportunities and converting them into new sales

  • Recommend potential sales opportunities to management by collecting customer information and analysing customer needs

  • Creating and developing Social Media, Marketing campaigns and increasing/enhancing the InXpress profile

  • Using bespoke software to maintain customer records and book shipments

    General PC Proficiency - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

  • General maths skills

  • Sympathetic with customer issues

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Personal attributes:

  • Positive, upbeat, enthusiastic attitude

  • Can-do, willing spirit

  • Cheerful, happy disposition, outgoing and a people person
