Full Job Description

We're looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join our Transportation team based in Birmingham. Within this role, you can enjoy competitive annual holiday entitlement with opportunities to buy/sell leave, a fantastic, matched pension scheme, a share in the success you help to create by investing in Kier through our Sharesave and Share Incentive Plans and even more., As Customer Service Administrator, you'll be working within the Transportation planning team, supporting in delivering a responsive front-line service via written communication with members of the public, Birmingham City Councillors and members of Parliament, committing to a timely response to all enquiries within five business days confirming the outcome of each particular enquiry.

Your day to day will include:

  • Liaising with all service areas, investigating enquiries, providing a comprehensive written response

  • Managing your own caseload of holding responses if a full response is not possible within five business days

  • Investigating and responding to official complaints in line with procedure

  • Delivering high quality service to all customers, delivering the right outcome the first time

  • Working to KPI's in line with organisational objectives

    You hold excellent multi-tasking and organisational skills, with a high level of communication skills across multiple channels (email, letter, telephone)

  • Are a motivated and driven individual who is passionate about helping and serving customers

  • Can be adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment and understand the importance of working together to achieve team goals
