Full Job Description

You'll enjoy the opportunity of sharing your enthusiasm and self-motivation as a Customer Service Advisor in our Contact Centre. At times you'll be working under pressure but your commitment to customer service will mean you really enjoy your work.

The successful candidate will be required to work their first 4 weeks full-time in our Devizes office, Monday - Friday from 8am - 4:30pm, to complete our induction training programme. Once the training programme is complete, you will be able to work flexibly with time spent in the office and working from home.

What you'll be doing

You'll be talking to our customers every day, making appointments, supporting them to use our self-service options, resolving issues and ensuring that their needs are met, using your common sense and logical approach to problem solving.

You will be the voice for Aster and the first point of contact for all customers that call Aster. We have 90,000 customers so at times you will managing a high volume of interactions.

Being empathetic and able to put yourself in our customers shoes will really help.

You will already have experience working in a customer service role, which probably included handling customer complaints. You'll be a good listener, understanding how to use your customer service skills to ensure a great service is given. You will need to be a confident communicator and comfortable taking a high number of phone calls throughout the day.

Multi-tasking will be one of your strengths as you'll need to be able to chat with our customers whilst adding information to our system.

Resilience is a must for this role! Customers may be calling at difficult times in their lives, so you may have to have challenging calls, but we will give you all the tools that you need to be able to manage these conversations and there is a fantastic team around you that will support you.
