Full Job Description

  • Maintaining a flexible attitude towards working in a small team
  • Able to remain calm in a live environment while being proactive in seeking solutions to customer queries
  • Engage with Camden Commercial customers on a daily basis to ensure all their requests and queries are actioned
  • Answering customer calls and responding to customer emails
  • Provide quotes to customers for Bulky/ad-hoc collections
  • Ensure all contact reasons are being logged correctly and highlight any trends or issues
  • Referring queries onwards with information when appropriate
  • Follow internal processes for missed collections, bag orders, assisting with the Customer Hub, invoice queries, bulky collections and complaints, processing new accounts and raising sales leads.
  • Liaise with Operational & Sales Team for any customer service related queries
  • Implement any ad hoc request from customers.
  • Process customer payments when required for bag orders and bulky/ad-hoc collections
  • Ensure that customer data is protected as required by GDPR regulations
  • Record accurate customer information in the system (creating new accounts, suspension, closing the accounts) in a timely manner
  • Maintain data as required to ensure information is accurate and up to date

    Previous customer service experience in the call centre environment - essential
  • GCSE qualification or equivalent
  • Prioritisation skills, flexibility and ability to manage workload with changing deadlines
  • Team player
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Practical verbal and numerical skills.
  • IT skills- intermediate level.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Initiative and problem solving skills.
  • Waste industry knowledge not mandatory but desirable (full training will be provided)
