Full Job Description

  • Proactive customer care, checking for issues/delays and notifying customers
  • Liaising with local customers, dealing with queries on the phone and by email
  • Phone calls and emails from depots and recipients chasing deliveries (inbound and outbound freight)
  • Customer complaints
  • Assisting any customers/visitors to the site
  • Customer bookings and pricing enquiries
  • Dealing with internal and external emails
  • Escalation of claims and credits to the Sales Support Supervisor
  • Service reports
  • General administrative duties
  • What do you need to provide?
  • Proof of right to work - Passport or birth certificate.
  • Clear DBS - needs providing within 28 days of employment.

Salary: £24,000 pa Pro Rata Holiday: 28 days holiday per year (pro rata for part-time positions) Hours: 40 hours a week working between the hours of 09:00 am and 5:30pm five days a week.
