Due to this, the successful applicant should be in or within a reasonably commutable distance to London, so you can really get plugged in to the Pod Point experience potentially on a weekly basis.
Join the EVolution:
The Customer Solutions & Bid Manager role sits within the heart of our Sales team, dedicated to supporting the business in the design and documentation of solutions while ensuring the establishment of an efficient internal bid process. On top of driving all bid activities across the UK and Europe, shaping our commercial agreements with new and prospective customers, you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading the development and implementation of innovative and comprehensive solutions to address the complex needs of clients.

  • Leveraging customer engagements to conduct market research and competitive analysis to support Pod Point's competitive edge.

  • Establishing and overseeing an internal bid process to streamline and standardise the bidding activities across the organisation.

  • Establishing a pricing strategy that facilitates margin growth in line with our targets and promotes improved balance.

  • Preparing and presenting persuasive, professional proposals, ensuring all client requirements are addressed effectively.

  • Cultivating strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, product, operations, finance, and legal teams.

    We think the role would be great for somebody who has previously worked in a similar role providing comprehensive solutions to customers, some project management experience and proficiency in bid management software, as well as someone with:

  • Degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. Masters degree is a bonus!

  • Proven experience in solutions development, bid management, or a similar role in a complex and competitive business environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner

  • Familiarity with the renewables industry or related sectors is desirable but not essential.
