Full Job Description

The Customer Support Advisor role is to deliver & enhance customer satisfaction by being the first point of contact for MPN customers. The role requires assisting MPN customers with orders and the timely receipt of product whilst also adding value across the network.

  • Leading Common Goal Agreements discussion with Customers and determining action plans for improvements.
  • Providing support to expedite orders whilst handling customer problems with professionalism and diplomacy to deliver an exceptional Customer Experience.
  • Responsibility for ensuring the timely receipt of inbound material from other MPN Nodes and the management of Premium Freight from these Nodes.
  • Responsible for ensuring the continued success of MPN kitting for the Aftermarket.
  • Lead process improvement projects with customers, employing Lean techniques and enhancing use of systems and technology., Follows processes and applies technologies for items and inventory management.
  • Assists in solving issues related to distribution to meet orders or inventory replenishment requirements.
  • Works with basic distribution requirements planning (DRP) processes and operations.

  • Industry & Product Knowledge: Knowledge of the organization's industry groups, component and product groups.

  • College or university degree related to Supply Chain, or APICS or CPIM highly desired. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and able to work independently and as part of a team. Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. Level Working Knowledge:
  • Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives.
  • Examines a specific problem and understands the perspective of each involved stakeholder.
  • Develops alternative techniques for assessing accuracy and relevance of information.
  • Helps to analyze risks and benefits of alternative approaches and obtain decision on resolution.
  • Uses fact-finding techniques and diagnostic tools to identify problems.
  • Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP): Knowledge of the process, issues and considerations for systematically managing distribution of inventory for multiple plants or warehouses; ability to apply related knowledge and experience in real practice. Level Working Knowledge:
  • Works with real-time inventory software, moving supplies to where needed, when needed.
  • Interprets the impact of bottlenecks and delays on operating costs.
