  • Communicate and acknowledge effectively both verbally and by e-mail with internal and external contacts, meeting the requirements of the department, and Eaton's commitment to the customer.
  • Ensure that Customer Purchase Orders are entered promptly and accurately, checking pricing, product description accuracy and clear delivery expectations and advising customer if this does not meet customer requirements and issue order acknowledgements, confirmations as required.
  • Ensure that timely updates are given to customers & sales teams, in terms of order status.
  • Management of orders ensuring all aspects of the project are controlled to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Develop relationships with customers with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Investigate and resolve price / shipping / credit term related queries, also ensuring actions are put into place to prevent further queries.
  • Progress orders and expedite product. Co-ordination of Customer Purchase orders in a proactive manner.
  • Check delivery time issues with materials planning and communicate delivery times to the customers.
  • Liaise with the Logistics Team to ensure customer orders are dispatched and delivered in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Understand the SAP order management to interrogate and investigate specific customer orders.
  • Liaison and co-ordination with MEDC internal departments and other Eaton sites to ensure accurate information is delivered to the customer.

    2 years of experience, Experience within a business-to-business environment
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Proficient in IT support packages including Excel and Outlook
  • Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy data entry and interpreting skills
  • Work ethic that encourages teamwork and exceeds goals
  • Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and challenges, ensuring proactive follow up on all actions to meet customer requirements
  • SAP system knowledge desirable
