Full Job Description

  • Check that all customs declarations have been completed in line with agreed standard operating procedures

  • Keep accurate records of all customs documentation, checks and errors, and track the status of any errors through to resolution

  • Analyse product data to create a compliant customs data set

  • Confirm the prohibitions and restrictions that apply to each product

  • Make sure that suppliers provide all required documentation to export any products subject to regulations

  • Equip Nisa partners with the documentation they need to enable wider export

  • Recommend improvements to process and ways of working to the Customs Team Leader

  • Actively support continuous improvement across the team

    The ability to work well in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Clear written and verbal communication

  • Experience of building positive relationships with suppliers

  • Good Microsoft Excel skills (you can use VLOOKUPS, pivot tables etc.)
